Lisa's "Three Basho Haiku" has been selected by Choral Arts Ensemble of Portland's director David De Lyser for performance on their December 8 & 9 concerts. Taylor Gaskins will premiere Lisa's new clarinet solo Gulper on November 2 at 8 pm at the University of North Texas on their Women in Music Recital. Gulper takes inspiration from the deep water fish known as a gulper eel, which possesses a large jaw, long whip-like tail, and a flashing lure that attracts prey.

Flutist Rose Bishop has commissioned a flute solo from Lisa for her 2019 recital tour. The theme of the tour is "Nevertheless, She Persisted: Music as Means of Resistance & Empowerment," and will include performances in New York City, Cincinnati, and Chicago.

Percussionist Matt Andreini will give the European premiere of Lisa's Icy Celestial Bodies for solo marimba. The performance will take place on July 3, 2018 in Kecskemet, Hungary as a part of the Iowa/Hungary Percussion Project. Andreini premiered Icy Celestial Bodies in 2017 in Quasqueton, Iowa.

Lisa's "Summer on a Stick," one of a set of choral piece commissioned by Kirkwood Community College Chamber Singers and Dr. Fred Kiser, will be given a preview performance at a concert for NASM visitors to Kirkwood's campus on Friday, April 13. The public premiere of the entire set, Postcards from Iowa, will be at the Kirkwood Choir Concert on Friday April 27 at 7:30 pm in Ballantyne Auditorium on Kirkwood's campus.

Lisa has been commissioned by the Cortona Sessions for New Music to write a solo piano piece for Michael Kirkendoll for the Women of Cortona Sessions Project. The work will be premiered by Kirkendoll as part of the 2019 Cortona Sessions for New Music in Cortona, Italy or at a possible concert in advance of the sessions.
