Text
I’ve brought you a new playfellow.
You must be very kind to him
and teach him all he needs to know,
for he is going to live with you
for always!
Ah, Little Rabbit, do you feel it in your shabby ears
and in your worn velveteen--
can you see it with your wise button-eyes
and feel it in your sawdust heart?
You are Real, and always have been!
Christmas Magic is love,
the love that grows
when we are clearly seen
and are loved just as we are.
You are love! You are REAL!
You must be very kind to him
and teach him all he needs to know,
for he is going to live with you
for always!
Ah, Little Rabbit, do you feel it in your shabby ears
and in your worn velveteen--
can you see it with your wise button-eyes
and feel it in your sawdust heart?
You are Real, and always have been!
Christmas Magic is love,
the love that grows
when we are clearly seen
and are loved just as we are.
You are love! You are REAL!
